The practice has its roots in the Amsterdam Insurance Bourse (Assurantiebeurs). It is a boutique law firm focussed on liability and recovery from material damages irrespective its causes. For over 30 years the firm is active in the commercial market and deals with matters concerning international and national transactions, as sales, (free) consignment contracts, cargo damages caused during transport, fire, theft, construction etc. The main commodities are fruits and vegetables, coffee, cocoa, ground nuts etc.

The practice areas are transport law, including maritime, arbitration, construction law, contract law, insurance law, including bad faith insurance law, debt recovery law, dispute resolution, litigation, professional liability law and torts law. We act on behalf of both claimants and defendants.

The practice is both national and international orientated.
